THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS (THE MUSICAL!) - SHOW CANCELLED

  • By Eric Rockwell (book/music) and Joanne Bogart (book/lyrics)

    Produced by Sorry/Grateful Theatre

  • Dear patrons and supporters,

In an effort to take proactive measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, Sorry/Grateful Theatre and Live Five Theatre have decided to cancel the upcoming production of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) which was originally slated to run April 23rd to May 3rd, 2020.

We continue to monitor the news coming in from around the country and we are seeing our fellow artists and institutions taking similar steps in an effort to flatten the curve. While we are saddened to learn that we will not be able to share this spectacular production with you, we recognize that public gatherings pose risks to our artists and you the audience who are, and have always been, our top priority.

We sincerely hope that you will understand our rationale for this cancellation and want to thank you, our patrons, artists, sponsors, and media partners for your support and patience as we navigate this situation.

For those who have already purchased tickets, we can give you three options:

    1. We can transfer the amount you have paid into a Gift Card for you to use towards any future show.

    a) There will be no time limit on this credit, towards next year's pass, or for a show three years from now. Your choice.

    b) You can use the credit towards any show where tickets are being sold through ON THE BOARDS Box Office.

    2. You can choose to donate the funds to Sorry/Grateful Theatre. Now that this show is cancelled, as are many other productions, artists are losing revenue left, right, and centre. Your donation would do a big part in ensuring these artists are able to sustain themselves through the uncertainty of the COVID pandemic.

    3. We can, of course, refund your ticket either by cheque or e-transfer. We wish all our patrons the best as they, and we, continue to distance ourselves so that we can ALL come back together in the future.
