Live Five is dedicated to the growth and development of professional theatre artists in Saskatoon. One of the ways that we foster development is by providing emerging professionals with the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with the many experienced and established artists in our community. These partnerships are made possible by offering positions to emerging artists in our Mentorship Program.

By being partnered with the creative team of a show in our season, emerging artists are given the opportunity to gain valuable experience with professional artists, to improve their own skill set, and to learn the unique challenges involved in self-production and independent theatre.

If you are interested in learning the ropes of indie theatre and want to gain experience in several aspects of production, the role of Production Assistant may be what you’re looking for. If you are looking for mentorship in a specific technical area (direction, design, stage management), there may be a great mentor available for you in one of those roles.
