    Award-winning Scantily Glad Theatre returns to Live Five with an all new original thriller. In 1968, mousy grad student Ruth Eisemann-Scheir and her boyfriend checked into the Rodeway Inn. Within two short weeks, she had become the first woman on the FBI's Most Wanted List. From the creators of SCUM: a manifesto comes another peek into the mind of one of history's most dangerous women. Inspired by true-crime podcasts, Girl in the Box twists the femme-fatale to deliver a suspenseful tale that will bury itself under your skin.

  • Established in 2014, Scantily Glad Theatre is Saskatoon's emerging voice in feminist and queer theatre. Over the past five years, we have toured original shows to audiences across North America. Our mandate is to produce new, thought-provoking theatre that promotes gender equality beyond the binary, and queer-representation. We hope to share voices that have been sorely lacking on Canadian stages.
