Live Five is dedicated to the growth and development of professional theatre artists in Saskatoon. One of the ways that we foster development is by providing emerging professionals with the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with the many experienced and established artists in our community. These partnerships are made possible by offering positions to emerging artists in our Mentorship Program.
By being partnered with the creative team of a show in our season, emerging artists are given the opportunity to gain valuable experience with professional artists, to improve their own skill set, and to learn the unique challenges involved in self-production and independent theatre.
If you are interested in learning the ropes of indie theatre and want to gain experience in several aspects of production, the role of Production Assistant may be what you’re looking for. If you are looking for mentorship in a specific technical area (direction, design, stage management), there may be a great mentor available for you in one of those roles.
Applications for Live Five's Mentorship Program are now open for positions on Grounded (Sept 21 - Oct 1, 2017) and Peach (Jan 25 - Feb 4, 2018). We are looking for passionate and driven emerging artists who will be active members of the companies they are placed with.
Please download and fill out the application form, and email it - along with your theatre resume, headshot and a letter of intent - to livefive.mentorshipREMOVE_THIS@gmailREMOVE_THIS.com.
